The city of Poznan has been consistently implementing the City Information System since 2004, in stages implementing street signs in subsequent districts. The city’s signage system includes six levels of information: address identification, tourism, locating in the city space, directing for pedestrians and drivers, commercial as well as one-off events. City Information System of the City of Poznan is changing in terms of technology. New construction solutions relate to plates with street and post names. The new districts of the city will be enriched with more tables with street names at the turn of 2015/2016.
